Transition Planning for Climate Action & the Role of the Board

October 22, 2024

Chapter Zero Brussels is excited to launch an interactive webinar series on “Transition Planning for Climate Action & the Role of the Board” in collaboration with Climact, the Belgian leader in climate consulting.

To navigate the transformative journey towards a low carbon economy, companies should have effective transition plans in place. Transition plans should be time-bound and outline the targets, actions and resources required to pivot the company’s assets, operations, value chain and even, in some cases, the entire business model, towards a low carbon future. This transformative journey will require specific oversight and involvement from the board.

In this webinar series, we will explain the “what, why and how” of transition planning, highlighting the specific role of the board. We will start with a special focus on the manufacturing sector, followed by a session on the financial sector in autumn. Throughout the series, we will be joined by Jerome Meessen, Associate Partner at Climact and other industry experts.
