Summary
The LTS is the country’s formal submission to the UNFCCC setting out how the UAE intends to reach net zero by 2050 across power, industry, transport, buildings and waste.
For directors, it is the clearest available signal of the policy direction their sector will be governed under — including the pace of clean-power deployment and the expected role of carbon capture and hydrogen.
We recommend reading it alongside the Third NDC, which translates the same trajectory into a 2035 commitment.
